Most of the focus these days on website promotion lies within SEO, but many people forget there are other options. Yes, SEO or Search Engine Optimization is an important part in promoting any website, especially when it comes to Google. Many sites have made hundreds of thousands of dollars just from the traffic they received from Google.

I am not here to say that webmasters should forget about Google. Not at all! Keep that SEO up! It can work wonders for you! The problem is recently I have been noticing many webmasters who focus 80%-100% of their promotional efforts on Google. This is no good! Webmasters should never rely on one site, one advertising source to keep their website up and running. With Google's constantly changing algorithm, and new sites being added every day, you never know if your high ranking will stay that way. Always remember to trade links with other sites, and use all the other tradional methods as well as optimizing for search engines. You will thank yourself later.
